Who was the real "King" of Rock & Roll? - Andre - 02-26-2009 05:06 PM

IMO, Jerry Lee Lewis earns that title, he was the greatest and certainly one of the wildest musicians of the 1950s.

I liked Elvis but Jerry's music was simply unique.

Cheers,
Andre

I guess that all depends on who you ask. I mean you could even go with someone contemporary. Dare I venture and say Kurt Cobain even though he doesn't properly fit the genere, being alternative rock and all. But for my generation I would have to say Kurt. It seems that so many musicans that die before their time become huge, Jim Morrision, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin etc...
